August, 2020 AUDIENCE AWARD!!!!! Our documentary WHOM TO TELL on the Holocaust survivors of Mauthausen has been awarded with the Audience Award of the 2020 edition of the Heimatfilmfestival in Freistadt. It was such a pleasure and was deeply touching to watch movie in theaters again. I can only recommend it. It makes you feel so much more human to watch art on the big screen. Thanks to the organisers in Freistadt we were able to do it again. They are terrific people and had a wonderful line up of films. THANKS!!! June, 2020 FESTIVAL PREMIERE This is fantastic news! The good old HEIMATFILMFESTIVAL in Freistadt will present the world premiere of WHOM TO TELL. It is the first festival here in Austria and probably in all of Europe that is actually letting people into theaters! I salute them already. October 13th, 2016 MARIA THERESIA Vent Productions has acquired the life rights of Toni Innauer, ski-jumping legend and olympic gold winner of the 70s and early 80s. We are currently putting together an international co-production. April 16th, 2016 FRED MAYER HAS DIED It’s with big sadness to announce the passing of friend and role model Fred Mayer. We are currently working on our movie OPERATION GREENUP based on the life of Fred. Condolences to his family and we promise to work even harder to get Fred’s incredible story out into the world. Here’s a link to Fred’s obituary in the New York Times. November 23rd, 2015 OPERATION GREENUP Vent Productions has acquired the life rights of Fred Mayer, THE REAL INGLORIOUS BASTARD. Fred, who as a German Jew fled Nazi Germany for Brooklyn as a teenager in 1938, only to parachute back into Nazi-controlled Austria seven years later as an American spy on an improbable secret mission. What an incredible story to bring to the screen! July 10th, 2015 "WHO WILL WE TELL THIS TO?" The documentary is also to bee seen as thorough preparation for our feature film  ONE DAY IN MAY, based on Iakovos Kambanellis incredible book MAUTHAUSEN. January 10th, 2015 THE SILENT MOUNTAIN INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS Our world sales company PREMIERE ENTERTAINMENT has sold our film to many, many countries. As of now THE SILENT MOUNTAIN will be released in more than 60 countries worldwide. Who would have thought! Congrats and THANKS to our team who made all this possible. March 30th, 2014 THE SILENT MOUNTAIN IS ON HIS WAY TO BECOME A THEATRICAL HIT IN AUSTRIA AND ITALY The world premiere of The Silent Mountain was a success. And the theatrical release is on track to become a box office hit in native Austria as well as Northern Italy. We shot two more weeks because of a lightning strike that hit next to our team and spread on to us. Nine people got hurt but they are alive and kicking. But that was only the beginning. A dirt avalanche swept away one of our battlefield sets and then our main actor William became sick. I am tired - but happy. May 10th, 2012 Pre-Production THE SILENT MOUNTAIN It's official. We are about to shoot The Silent Mountain with William Moseley (The Chronicles of Narnia), Eugenia Costantini and Claudia Cardinale. Can't wait to work with the legend. The moment when she gets off the train in ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST comes into my mind right away. We will shoot for six weeks. GW will run in competition there. And after this the film will go on a screening tour in Austria and Italy, released on DVD also in both countries and VOD on Amazon. So exciting.
